Introduction to CMMI DEV课程简介

l  Overview Prerequisites 课前准备

This three-day course introduces managers and practitioners, appraisal team members, and process improvement teams to CMMI fundamental concepts. The CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) model helps organizations to improve their ability to develop and maintain quality products and services.

l  Objectives 目标与大纲

Ø  This course enables participants to:

Ø  describe the components of the CMMI-DEV model and their relationships

Ø  discuss the process areas

Ø  describe the model content

Ø  The course is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions.

Ø  Successful completion of this course requires that participants actively participate in classroom discussions and exercises in all three days, not missing any classroom time.  This course fulfills a prerequisite requirement for many courses requiring an official Introductory CMMI course (e.g., Intermediate Concepts of CMMI, SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training, and Understanding CMMI High Maturity Practices). This course also fulfills a prerequisite if you want to be a CMMI-DEV SCAMPI appraisal team member (ATM) or become a Certified CMMI Associate.

Ø  The Introduction to CMMI for Development course is offered by the CMMI Institute and by certified CMMI Partner Instructors. 

Ø  The Introduction to CMMI for Development does not require any specific preparation.
